Exploring Iowa’s Renewable Energy

Co-creator on a collaborative team commissioned by the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department to create

a long-term, interactive public art installation about STEAM at the Robert A. Lee Recreation Center in Iowa City, IA.

I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team that included an engineer, computer scientist, new media/projection artist,

and three-dimensional visual artist to create and install the installation.

I created the photographic mural that serves as the background of the built installation.

I worked closely with the team’s engineer who designed an algorithm to create a photographic mosaic

made up of more than 6,500 of my photographs of the Iowa landscape.
